oh. what a day. there was photo taking today for cca. the legion photo taking took really really long. and by the time we ended, the ncc guys were there, so matthew, jeryl and i rushed to change.. we were practically stripping as we ran. literally. there was nothing really special during training today. had guard of honour training by our acsm jeremy, while the other part cs had supporting contingent rehersal. pretty slack. but the best part about today's training was that we got to take over the dismissal parade. wei liang was csm, kannan and tian kai were acsms, part c 1st was bryan ong, 2nd was alistair, part b 1st was me, 2nd was wei xuan, part a 1st was james, 2nd was joey, and prayer leader was matthew. it went awfully well, especially since it was the first parade we've ever conducted. little screw-ups here and there, but it was alright cos our actual csm daniel said that's the only way we can learn:)

chemistry practical nearly got me screwed. mr chen was elaborating on what to do and by the time he had done so, yash and i kinda completed the experiment. i rushed back to class, chenged into no. 4 and when i reached the part bench, some people from my class were still doing the practical. mr chen saw me and he was surpirsed i guess, and he asked me where i was going, and i replied that i was going for shooting. then he asked this really awkward question about who the best shooter in the school is and i was stumped. luckily, he just smiled and walked off.
live range was much easier compared to IMT, but it was much messier, nosier and longer. but overall it was pretty darn awesome. the recoil rate's really high, and the gunpowder smells awful. the bullet casings burnt the fingers. the worst part's that we left school at 12.45pm, reached there around 1.10pm, and left at 7.10pm. we wasted six hours there. totally dumb. i scored 8 over 10, which isn't marksman, but its certainly better in comparison with the IMT scores. we were then sent by bus to yio chu kang mrt station, and we were released there. of course, i walked home. the best part is that ashleigh was beatboxing and dancing on the bus. uber lame, but really comical. i laughed so hard tears welled up in my eyes. uder funny:) off to study. a math trial test on statistics tomorrow. and off to watch a couple of episodes of la ink. good day.

HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY NICHOLAS LIAW:)
it's my older brother's official birthday today. but saturday's celebration was still a celebration. lol. ok. with that out of the way, happy founder's day! especially to the all the lasallian brothers. it's founder's day today! yay. sure. like i care. wait. i do. we ended school early today, and that's the precise reason why i'm blogging at 11am today. i wanted to stay back to watch the founder's relay after school, but it got suspended due to a lightning alert. so. too bad.
oh. i did offertory for mass today, with leonard. basically, it was pretty stupid. i went into the hall this morning, and i was seen by adeline tan, who asked me if it was alright if i did offertory. my first reaction, like always, was simply, wtf. then i said yes. so she asked me to find a lower secondary guy to do offertory with me. so i agreed. great huh. but in the end, everything turned out pretty alright. so i'm awfully glad it passed quickly. special thanks to leonard for agreeing to help me:) kudos to you leonard, you seriously ROCK.

today's training can be simply summed up in two very easy words. SCREWED UP. played soccer in school till around 8, then david kwang came and told us to go home as firstly, we're disturbing the brothers and we're actually suppose to leave the school by 7pm. fine. reached home at 9.15pm. pretty darn late, but didn't get scolded at all. my brother's birthday celebration's tomorrow. can't wait:)

well it turns out i'll be 2st ic for part b tomorrow, and wei xuan will be 2nd. matthew's in guard of honour. lucky fella. and wei xuan's supporting contingent ic. damn. am i the only person without a nice position in AP? sigh. tsk tsk. anyways , there's this really huge screw up in the communication between matthew and i, so i'm not really sure about the routine order (RO) for tomorrow's training. we'll just see how it goes tomorrow i guess. wish me luck.
oh yea. there's this retard in my english tuition class who thinks the name 'ernest' is spelt as 'erenst'. simply, whattheheck. dumb shit.

training today was pretty funny. i had project scubilion before that, so i came late for training. in case some of you have no clue what project scubilion is, its this project where we go to help the less fortunate. ok. so i'm kinda helping the rainbow centre at balestier, where the kids there are physically disabled or autistic. damn, my first impression was wow, their facilities are pretty darn awesome. there's like a swimming pool. for young kids. craziness. but the thing is that i found that i had scubilion on the day itself, so i was pretty clueless. yea. and in the end, i came back at 3.45pm. late for training. the entire company went out for some walk, so i decided to help bryan tan, bryan huang and john to do admin stuff. we packed these sji newsletters into envelopes, to be sent to sji old boys. at the end of the day, i think we packed nearly a thousand envelopes. cool eh. nice. there's word that we'll be in charge of training next week. not sure to what extent it is true. bye for now. math homework calls.

today was a pretty slack enrichment day. for those of you who have no idea what is enrichment day, its a day in which learning is conducted outside the classroom. so in my previous post, i said i was gonna watch a hindi movie. turns out there were many people i knew there. jeryl ong, kannan, gareth, faraz and shaanjit. the movie title is BLACK. amazing i tell you. its about this blind and deaf girl, and her parents hire a teacher for her to teach her how to survive in a modern society. its supposedly really touching, but we didn't finish the film as we had to prepare our presentation. i teamed up with gareth and faraz, and we came up with some retarded poem. in the end, we picked the scholars presentation, and we kinda joined our poem, shaanjit's group's analysis and the scholars project. the thing is that our presentation, compared to other groups, was BORING. and sucked like hell. other groups had powerpoint presentation, skits or performances. and ours just rambled on and on. whatthefuck. great huh. we were plain pathetic.

SJI rugby update. SJI won ACS (Barker). Managed a (convincing?) 18-10 win. Very nice.
Local football update. Singapore (surprisingly) managed to win Lebanon 2-0. Totally amazing I tell you. Serious.
The surds test today was alright for once. Pretty fine. Wasn't as hard as I had actually expected it to be.
And there was this briefing for those going for the Beijing trip, so I went. Simply. It was dumb. Half the stuff there hasn't even been confirmed yet.
Also, its ENRICHMENT DAY tomorrow! Ya-ha~! I'm doing Hindi film appreciation with Yash. It's gonna be really slack. Oh yes. Dental tomorrow after school. So darn retarded.
